We go through so many different seasons in life and the only constant is CHANGE! We all started out as babies and children, learning through play and then on to school and education. Then we hit the REAL WORLD as adults with responsibilities and jobs, having babies turns into raising families and advancing in careers. We turn houses into homes for the people we love. We cook meals, help with homework, fix leaks, and climb through mountains of laundry. Then…..

Those babies become their own people and they start those responsibility seasons of job, family, career, maintenance, and cleanings just like we did but NOW….

NOW, what do we do? We got them there! They are where they should be and need to be. We have done our part and we sometimes find ourselves lonely because our babies are not babies anymore! They are out there building their own life and their own families and we love to watch that happen! We long to see them standing on their own two feet and taking care of the life and family they have built! Now, we have grandbabies and they are absolutely grand, but life is a lot different now!

When we make it to this stage of life, in most cases, we either have too much time on our hands causing us to feel lonely or bored OR we wish for more time because we are busy maintaining a home and a yard when we really just want to spend time with friends and family and do something FUN and EXCITING!

Being a part of a community can help settle these situations! Here at City Center Village, our residents do not have to worry about cooking daily, maintaining a home, or doing lawn care! The community lifestyle allows them to come and go as they please, take care of their basics, and then….DO WHAT THEY WANT!!!!!! By allowing us to provide the amenities and services that we offer to our residents, it frees up a lot of time for them to spend with their loved ones! More time and better quality! Also, for those who are lonely…We have plenty of neighbors here and activities to help break the ice when making new friends!!!!! You will never be truly alone unless you choose to be!

This is the season of life when we do TAKE IT EASY and enjoy every moment! We get to sit back and watch the progress our kids make at building their own future. We get to be their biggest cheerleader. We get to catch up and sip coffee, or tea with our friends and recall all those memories of the past and how we made it from there to here! We get to make new friends without so much responsibility being in the way of letting that friendship mature into something absolutely amazing! We get to venture into new hobbies and experiences, travel, or maybe even write a book because NOW, we have made it through the “constant GO GO GO” and “always be responsible” phases of life! It is time to really appreciate the journey we have made it through and conquered!

YOU MADE IT!!!! It is now time to sit back, relax, and fully enjoy the fruits of your labor and let someone else HELP YOU!!!!!!
